Why can orders be automatically assigned to a courier in the Broadcast mode?

Orders can be automatically distributed to couriers in Broadcast mode if Auto is selected in the Mode of order distribution between couriers setting. To change it, go to Control Panel → Cities → edit → Logistics → Mode of order distribution between couriers.
