The Dots app is white-label: it ships to the App Store and Google Play under your name, your icon, your colors. And the setup does not stop at branding. Everything that changes weekly in a real delivery business is configuration, not code — which means your manager changes it, not a contractor with a two-week backlog. What white-label means in practice — and where its limits are — is covered in our guide to white-label delivery apps.

What you control without a release

  • Branding: colors, logo, splash screen, promo banners on the home screen.
  • Menu: categories, photos, modifiers, combos, stop-lists per location, availability schedules.
  • Service modes: delivery, pickup, dine-in, table reservation — switched on per location.
  • Delivery zones: polygons with their own fees, minimum orders, and delivery times.
  • Payments: online cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, terminal on delivery — per location and per mode.
  • Languages and currencies for every market you operate in.

Why configuration speed is money

A weekend promo decided on Friday morning goes live Friday afternoon: banner in the app, promo item in the menu, push scheduled. In a custom-coded app the same change waits for a developer, a build, and app-store review — days, sometimes a week. Stop-lists work the same way: when a dish runs out at one location, it disappears from that location’s menu in seconds, which means no orders for food you cannot cook and no refunds for it either. The pattern is consistent: every hour between decision and change is margin lost, and configuration removes those hours.

The same panel drives every channel at once. Change a price, a photo, or a schedule once, and it updates in the app, on the ordering website, and in the order queue together — no version drift between what the customer sees and what the kitchen cooks.

Who benefits most

Chains where locations differ — zones, schedules, menus, payment setups — and multi-brand kitchens running several concepts from one panel. Also anyone who has been quoted six months for a custom build: with Dots the customization is deep enough for a real brand, and launch still takes about two weeks.
